Jon Ola Sand: Preparation for Eurovision 2012 goes well

The first rehearsal of Eurovision-2012 has been held on Monday, in Baku Crystal Hall.
Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest Jon Ola Sand gave an interview to Eurovision.az following examination of the Baku Crystal Hall.

"Ilham Aliyev is the most popular political figure"

The Estonian politician Max Kaur supported the US former ambassador to Azerbaijan, former co-chair of the OSCE Minsk group on resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict Matthew Bryza, who considers President Ilham Aliyev as the most popular political figure in Azerbaijan.
Currently, Matthew Bryza leads the International Center of Defense Studies in Estonia.

Jon Ola Sand spokes about the preparation processes in "Baku Crystal Hall"

Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest Jon Ola Sand commented regarding the works related to the Arena and Press Centre, while getting familiarized with the preparations at "Baku Crystal Hall."

My favorites are Sabina Babayeva and Engelbert Humperdinck, Emin Agalarov

"Representatives of Azerbaijan and UK Sabina Babayeva and Engelbert Humperdinck are my favorites in Eurovision 2012, which will be held in Baku. I think that they have great chances to win," Emin Agalarov told in his interview to eurovision.az.
"I also support Buranovskie Babushki, which will represent Russia in the song contest."

Azerbaijan`s foreign policy priorities remain unchanged during its presidency in Security Council, Permanent representative to UN

The priorities of Azerbaijan's foreign policy will remain unchanged, by maintaining its relevance and during its presidency in the UN Security Council, Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to the UN Agshin Mehdiyev told press.
Azerbaijan headed the UN Security Council on May 1 after the U.S., which presided in April. China will have the presidency in a month.
